We've been working on the book the Whales' song and have learnt the story off by heart. Here we are having fun in our English lessons.
Our class assembly based on the Tudors. Feb 5th 2016. Well done everybody!
We've made our one string fiddles and our moving vehicles are almost ready. We learnt lots about resilience making these!!!
9/11/15 London Transport Museum trip. Photos to follow, but I just had to share this..... It's always amusing to watch the reaction of commuters when they realise they will be sharing a carriage with a class or two of school children. On both journeys, the children were fanstastic. Several of our fellow travellers spoke to me and said how wonderful our children's behaviour was. I was very, very proud to be out with them today. Miss C

To start our 'Journeys' topic, we have been learning about the Vikings. We told the story of 'Imir the Frost Giant' through music. We achieved a lot in a small amount of time!
Using 'tarsia' puzzles to check we've learnt our poetry vocabulary.
Today I borrowed a camera from Mrs Rixon, so here are some photos of Oscar rather expertly telling the class about his visit to the Kennedy Space Centre. Well done Oscar.
During our English learning using the brilliant text 'Leon and the Place between', we've been using a technique called 'Reader's Theatre'. This deepens our understanding of the text and helps us to write well. Here is a video of a short section performed by everyone!
We've been learning how to give each other constructive feedback about our written learning. Here we are sharing our circus writing with our partner.
22/9/15. Miss C thought the rain had stopped but she was wrong! We had a go at speed stacks in our classroom instead of PE. It was noisy but fun!
