Here at Darrick Wood Junior School, staff and school leaders regularly quality assure a range of aspects of the school's provision. One of the areas that we focus on in this respect is the quality of the classroom environments around school and the wider school environment. Following the most recent (February 2017) review, we were absolutely delighted with the outcomes; the quality of the classroom environments has long been a strength at the school and current evidence suggests that it continues to be so.
We are aware that parents and visitors have limited opportunity to visit the classrooms and that, when they do so, they often see only one classroom in isolation. In an effort to share some of the great learning spaces and displays from around the school with you all, please find below a selection of photographs from the February review. We hope that you enjoy looking at them.
The cost of school lunches for the second half of the Spring Term is £63.80
In the event of adverse weather, a text message will be sent to parents and information posted on the website. If you do not receive any communication to this effect, please assume school is open as normal.
