Here at Darrick Wood Junior School, staff and school leaders regularly quality assure a range of aspects of the school's provision. One of the areas that we focus on in this respect is the quality of the classroom environments around school and the wider school environment. Following the most recent (February 2017) review, we were absolutely delighted with the outcomes; the quality of the classroom environments has long been a strength at the school and current evidence suggests that it continues to be so.
We are aware that parents and visitors have limited opportunity to visit the classrooms and that, when they do so, they often see only one classroom in isolation. In an effort to share some of the great learning spaces and displays from around the school with you all, please find below a selection of photographs from the February review. We hope that you enjoy looking at them.
The cost of school lunches for the second half of term is £77.00 (£66 for those Year 6 pupils going to the Isle of Wight)
From 1st September 2017 we will not be accepting cash or cheques in school. Please register with School Gateway if you have not already done so.
