The Parent Partnership Service can help in a number of ways. They encourage partnerships between parents, LA’s, schools, voluntary organisations and other agencies. Support is free, confidential and available to parents or carers of children from 2-19 years of age. It is an impartial service, which means it will not try to make you decide on a particular course of action. They will always put your needs first. They will always use plain English, removing any jargon and fully explain procedures to you. They will support you whilst decisions are being made. If necessary, they will put you in touch with translators and interpreters.
