At Darrick Wood Junior School we understand the value of collaboration. The notion that no man is an island is also true in the context of schools and to this end we actively seek to build partnerships with other schools both locally and overseas. By working in effective partnership with other educators we are able to share best practice and work collaboratively to build better practice. The benefits extend way beyond the bounds of the classroom too - notably by working with schools overseas we ensure that Darrick Wood pupils receive an education that is rich in terms of cultural diversity and they build an understanding of their place in the world as global citizens.
