5 Ash

Greek Day

5 Ash had a great time participating in different activities linked to different aspects of Ancient Greece, from learning the alphabet and writing their names in Greek, to investigating lots of different artefacts. Also, using the VR headsets to see ancient landmarks and participating in a workshop to learn about what life was like for different people during this period of time, such as children, market sellers, athletes and the wealthy.

Our Class Charter

During the first week of term, we discussed what a 'right' was and the different rights we are entitled to as children. We chose 5 rights that we felt linked to our time at school, such as: we have the right to be listened to, the right to play and rest and the right to a good education. We then discussed how we can respect these rights, for example: listening to others and respecting their views, being polite and always trying our hardest.

Our Class Charter reminds us to Reach For The Stars!
