We offer wraparound childcare on site at Darrick Wood Junior School. The Stars provision is open to both infant and junior school pupils. If you wish for your child to attend any of the Stars sessions, please complete an application form which is available from the school office, or electronically at Stars Wraparound Care Registration Form.
Please note that we will not be able to accommodate a pupil who arrives for a session without being registered and/or booked.Once we have your child's details you will be able to book via the Arbor app or Arbor Parent Portal. Please use the 'Clubs' option on the to make a booking.
The cut-off times for making bookings is 11.30pm the day before for Breakfast Club and 2.30pm on the day for After School Clubs.
If you need to cancel a booking, please email starsdwjs@iniciotrust.org by 9.00pm on the day before for Breakfast Club and 2.15pm for After School Clubs. It is not possible to cancel sessions via Arbor. You may be charged for cancellations made a short notice.
After School Club ends at 6.00pm. A late-collection charge of £30 will be added to your account if children are collected after this time.
The Afternoon session ends at 4.30pm. If children registered for that session are collected after 4.30pm, the Twilight charge of £10 will be added to your account.
Stars is located in the Small Hall with access to outside areas and the Library. Entry and collection is via the pedestrian gate by the bike and scooter sheds. Please press the intercom and wait for a member of the Stars team to release the gate. There is a second gate by the hut which will also be released.
All children attending Stars must be dropped off (Breakfast Stars) and collected (Afternoon, Twilight and After School Stars) at the door to the Small Hall.

Childcare Vouchers
We are happy to accept childcare vouchers and are currently registered with the providers listed below. If your employer uses a different provider, please contact the office so the school can register with them.
To pay with vouchers, please contact the school office who can amend your child's Arbor account so you are not asked to make payment on booking.
